MEDIUMS WE RECOMMEND:
MARKERS - TEMPERA PAINT - INTENSE WATERCOLORS - HEAVY CRAYONS - OIL CRAYONS
DO NOT USE: lightly colored pencils, lightly colored crayons, lightly painted watercolors or tempera, lead pencil, glitter, fluorescent/neon paints or markers, chalk pastels, three-dimensional collage materials.

PAPER SIZE
Use Square 1 Art paper provided with an 8.5"x8.5" drawing area. Paper includes a header at the top for artist's information and a number. ART ID header MUST be clearly printed and accurate so S1A can read information easily! As of Fall 2009, no class rosters will be required. |

BORDERS (optional)
If artists want to color a frame around the artwork (borders), make sure it is 3/4 - 1" thick.
Erase any pencil lines or they WILL show on the finished products.

SIGNATURES Parents LOVE seeing their child's name and it helps S1Art! Click SIGNATURE TEMPLATE
Print and USE the "Signature Template" to ensure proper placement of the name. If template directions are ignored names will be partially or completely cut off of the custom ordered products.

FINISHING TOUCHES
- Erase all unwanted marks, pencil lines & smudges. What we see is what you will receive on finished products!
- Have artists recolor their pictures if it's not colorful enough.
