Fill the 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" space completely using vivid colors!
If you can see the artwork clearly from across the room.....GREAT!
We recommend:
MARKERS - TEMPERA PAINT - INTENSE WATERCOLORS - HEAVY CRAYONS - OIL CRAYONS - PAPER COLLAGE
Do not use: lightly colored pencils, lightly colored crayons, lightly painted watercolors or tempera, lead pencil, glitter, fluorescent/neon paints or markers, chalk pastels, three-dimensional collage materials.

PAPER SIZE
Use 8 ½" x 8 ½" SQUARE paper. Use FREE Square 1 Art paper or accurately cut your own good quality paper to size.
Do not use: construction paper that is faded, fluorescent,neon, light blue or peach colored.

COLORED BORDERS or DESIGN within BORDERS are okay!
If you want borders, make sure they're 1" thick and colored in with a solid color or simple designs.
NO WHITE BORDERS, NO PENCIL GUIDELINES, NO WORDS INSIDE BORDERS.

NAMES & DETAILS Parents LOVE seeing names!
Names MUST be written and indented 1" at the bottom of the art. If this direction is ignored, the name will be partially or completely cut off of the custom ordered products.
Do not write text at the top or center of the art because key chains, ornaments, bag tags and clocks have openings.
Do not write or color text or special details near the edges because manufacturing on hot plates, coasters, clocks, mouse pads requires a tiny portion of the picture to overlap the edges. Some products also have rounded edges.

FINISHING TOUCHES
- Erase unwanted marks, pencil lines & smudges.
- Identiify artist, grade, teacher and school in the identification area.
- Identification can also be written in PENCIL on the back of your own 8 1/2" x 8 1/2" square paper.
- Have artists recolor their pictures if it's not colorful enough. Lightly colored pictures will not show up well.
