    3. Parents who are interested in purchasing their child's artwork on Square 1 Art, LLC are required to register as members. The information provided during the registration process is used to communicate with the Parent on Square 1 Art.com. Square 1 Art, LLC keeps all Parent last names, email addresses and physical addresses completely private and does not sell this information to anyone. In addition, as part of the Parent account creation process, Square 1 Art, LLC records the IP address used to register and agree to Square 1 Art, LLC Terms & Conditions of Use.

  3. Information Provided by Kids (Children Under 18)

    4. Square 1 Art, LLC is committed to complying with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998. Our information collection practices are described below. Square 1 Art, LLC urges kids to check with their Parents before entering information on any Website, and we urge Parents to discuss with their kids the potential danger of revealing personal information to anyone they don't know.
     
    • We do not collect personally identifiable offline contact information from kids.
    • We do not distribute to third parties any personally identifiable information collected from kids.

  4. Artwork Submission

    5. Persons under 18 may NOT submit any artwork for publication. Only Parents and Teachers are allowed to submit the artwork of those under 18. <

  5. Personally Identifiable Information About Artists

    6. It is Square 1 Art, LLC's policy to protect the identity of the Artists showcasing their work on Square 1 Art, LLC. Artists will be identified only by their art id/barcode number (which often but not necessarily consists of the Artist's first name, last name and a numerical suffix). Square 1 Art, LLC does not knowingly post the full name, mailing address or email address of Artists on its Website.


    As noted above, we require that Teachers and Parents write the first name and last name of the Artist onto the art paper header before submitting artwork. Square 1 Art, LLC is not responsible for any damages resulting directly or indirectly from the negligence of the submitter of the artwork.

  6. Information Posted Publicly on Square 1 Art, LLC

    7. Users should be aware that any personal information (including names of persons or schools) that is posted on Square 1 Art, LLC by Users is not accessible to other Users of the Website and could not be collected, used, and disclosed by others unless the child’s art id number, child’s first and last name, school, and classroom teacher are shared. Square 1 Art, LLC is not responsible for the collection, use, or disclosure of information if the child’s art id number, child’s first and last name, school name, or classroom teacher are shared. We strongly discourage Users from sharing personally identifiable information such as the child’s art id number, school name, classroom teacher with people other than family members.

  7. Cookies

    8. Cookies are small text files that Square 1 Art, LLC writes to a User's computer to make it easier for the User to navigate within the Website. Square 1 Art, LLC cookies do not contain any personally identifiable information such as passwords. Visitors to the Website have the option of disabling cookies via browser preferences. However, if cookies are disabled, some features of the Website may not function properly.
